I am the creator of the Tales from the Lilypad stories podcast. Since 2014, I have written, voiced, and produced an episode monthly. Sometimes they are original stories by myself, sometimes they are literary fairy tales, as in my take on a classic. Before the pandemic, I told +1,000,000 stories to kids around the world. During the pandemic, I told another +1,000,000 stories. I vividly remember launching the first episode ever and my kids were jumping up and down in their car seats clapping and cheering to hear me on our van’s sound system. I was so excited when the first ten people listened! And then one hundred….
Kids write to me sometimes and ask if I will please tell more stories. Okay, I will.
